Anise Cookies

Ingredients

• 12 eggs
• 6 cups flour
• 6 tsp. baking powder
• ½ tsp. salt
• 7 tsp. anise extract
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 ½ cups olive oil
• 1 box of confectioners sugar
• ½ cup red san
• ½ cup green sprinkles

Instructions

Combine eggs, flour, baking powder, salt, anise extract, sugar and olive oil in a large bowl. Dough should become very sticky. Place small spoonfuls onto baking sheets and bake in 350-degree oven for 10 minutes . While cookies cool, combine confectioners sugar with about ½ cup of water and mix thoroughly until a thin icing forms. Dip cookies into icing. After letting excess icing drip off of cookie, dip in sprinkles and let set.
